This button was found in an estate sale and here the information that was provided to me: Here is an antique metal button c1885 that was later decorated with a bakelite IG head c1935. The IG head is almost 3 dimensional and has been beautifully sculptured. On the back is a metal loop. There is a protective pipe cleaner threaded through the loop. Measurement is just a tad under 1" diameter. Aside from a few minor signs of surface wear .... this button is in excellent condition. It is a lovely and unusual Italian Greyhound collectable!
